What Happens After Foreclosure?

After a Tax Deed or Mortgage foreclosure, the county will auction off the foreclosed property. The opening bid is for the unpaid tax/mortgage amount. These properties often sell for an amount that is higher than the opening bid. Any excess funds remaining are legally entitled to the previous owner. So, why didn't you know about the excess money? Because the county mails surplus notification letters to the last address on record, which is the foreclosed property, so the previous owner rarely gets informed! They have no incentive to find you. I work hand in hand with the county and I can assist you in recovering these funds. Unclaimed State Funds

Believe it or not, many people have unclaimed funds that are due to them and they don't even know it! When bank accounts, uncashed checks, money orders, insurance policies, stocks, bonds, trust funds, etc., go unclaimed, they end up in the state's Treasury Department. Financial institutions are required to do an annual report to the state's Treasury and after a few years of failed communication with potential owners or heirs, these institutions turn the funds over to the state. That's where I step in! I work hand in hand with the state and I will assist you in filing the claim to recover these funds. Again, NO upfront fees and I handle all of the filings for you.
